Accepting New Clients Virtually in May!
Julie works with teens, adults, retirees, and couples, navigating life’s challenges, transitions, and emotional complexities. She is completing her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands. Her approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and insight-driven. Drawing from psychodynamic theory, person-centered care, and evidence-based practices like CBT and DBT, Julie supports clients in understanding themselves more deeply, strengthening emotional regulation, and building healthier, more fulfilling relationships. She focuses on meaningful, lasting change. She has a special interest in working with individuals impacted by childhood experiences, life transitions, identity shifts, as well as concerns related to women’s mental health, borderline personality patterns, depression, anxiety, and grief. Clients describe her as grounded, perceptive, and thoughtfully direct. She creates a space where individuals of all ages can slow down, feel understood, and begin to heal while honoring the strengths that have carried them this far.
